I just finished this scarf/shawl pattern, Mohair Bias Loop by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas, and I love it! I used a beautiful 50% silk 50% mohair Peacock (316) color yarn shot with silver called Rhapsody Glitter Light. I had the pleasure of visiting Churchmouse when we were in Seattle this year. The shop sample of this pattern was gorgeous and did it’s job, seducing me into buying the yarn and the pattern! The scarf is lightweight, elegant, versatile and also non-itchy which is important in neck ware. The pattern is ultra simple – just cast on and knit one row and purl one row, adding and decreasing on each end of every other row so that a bias strip is formed. When it’s long enough, the ends are joined to create a loop.
