| I started this fabric origami quilt at a trip to Asilomar in April 2006 and finished it within a couple weeks of returning home. No new UFO for once! The pattern comes from Fantastic Fabric Folding: Innovative Quilting Projects by Rebecca Wat. The flowers are made from two sets of fat quarters. One set was Fairy Frost which has a shimmer effect and the other was a set of bright fabrics with sparkles. I sewed a pearl bead in the center of each flower to finish it off. The sparkles and shine don't really show up well in the photo of the whole quilt.
