This is a landscape pattern that I started in a class with Linda Schmidt in July, 2006 and finished in August 2006. The background is hand-painted and the distant mountains are made from batik fabrics with burnt edges. Shiny organdie dress-fabric was used for the water. The tree is machine embroidered and appliquéd to the background.
