| A pair of Rob's co-workers invited us to a double baby shower in June 2008. Since I had a month's notice, I decided to whip up a couple of baby-boy quilts, using my favorite baby quilt pattern, the Double Irish Chain. This pattern is great to use with baby fabrics as the center areas are a great place to use novelty prints, in this case, monkeys for one and Winnie the Pooh for the other. I had color schemes to work with for these quilts, which made it a bit more challenging to make the quilts, but it was still fun to do some simple sewing. |
