Hippity Hoppity Penny Rug

This cute little Easter penny rug is made from felted wool and is a quick and easy project to put together. I started and completed it in the same week. For once, I was ahead of the holiday I was sewing for! The pattern comes from the March/April 2003 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine and was designed by Jane Krause.  I liked it so much I made a second one for my mom.
