Summer Fan Light

Completed April 2005.

This is a wall hanging that I made with fusible appliqué over a pieced background that is meant to look a little like a summer sunset in a garden.  It’s a practice piece for making a significantly larger garden gate quilt someday.  The pattern is called Summer Fanlight and comes from Enchanted Views: Quilts Inspired by Wrought-Iron Designs by Dilys A. Fronks.
