Layered Cookie Bars |

| There are lots of versions of cookie bars around which layer in everything but the kitchen sink and everyone seems to love them. I like this simpler version of the bars, which layers butter, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips and peanut butter chips and sweetened condensed milk. I usually have these ingredients on hand, but if I don't have peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips or another mild candy chip will do just fine. One of the great things about this recipe is that it is really very quick to put together. The only problem is having the patience to wait for them to cool enough to cut and eat. Well, maybe there are two problems with this recipe because not eating too many is also difficult! | |||
